XBOX 360 Transfer kit...anyone have one? - texasRACERS

Buying an Elite today...need a transfer kit to swap my info from one HDD to another....can't find one to save my life.....looks like I have to order one online but I'm impatient!! So anyone got one I can borrow or buy off them?

Yea but not sure what to do with it, it's giving me a open tray error randomly....I dunno if I should fix it for $40 or sell it as is.

LOL...too late, I bought a rediculously small, 512mb memory card and transfered everything 450mbs at a time! Took me about an hour, and I left it on DLing random videos I wanted. I wonder if I can return it? Probably just sell it.

I will, I'm still debating....I thinking a lens cleaner will make it work again, if not I can spend $40 and have a local shop open it up and fix the drive. I dunno if I should sell it or keep it and mod it (window,leds) to have in another room. But I'll let you know.....have an offer as is? Is your xbox warranty already voided?
Because I got the 3 light's of doom a month ago and then not even a week later I got that stupid error code saying that there was no disc in the tray when really there was but it was something due to the systems reading crap. But both I was able to send it to xbox the second time free of charge because it had happen so close to the other error.

U guy's didn't get that lil transferring wire when you bought the new hard drive? I guess it must only be on the 120G hard drives lol

My Box is a little over 2 years old....warranty is only 1 year....Red Ring Of Death is 3 year warranty.

As far as that wire, it didn't come with my Elite....but the memory card worked great, just took awhile.

I bought my Elite brand new yesterday and it didnt come with the transfer kit. Wish it did. Its even the brand new bundle with ODST and Forza 3, 120 gig HD!

Dang you suck, how much did you pay? I paid $300, no games, but got a $50 gift card to best buy.......granted I already have ODST, but I could have gave it to a buddy.
