Hey,

Guys i got an idea here coming up pretty soon. Hopefully in the next couple of months, my church is going to be opening up their facility on St.mary's and 281. It was an albertson before and now we are transforming it into a place that is going to be a regular hangout. I play a big part in the church and know a lot of people. I have brought up the discussions nurmerous of times and people have agreed to do this. I wanna kick it off with big car show with prizes(just a trophey or something in all kinds of catagories). There will be an entrance fee of 5.00-10.00 not sure yet. I want to see how many people would be up for something like this. I want to present it to some more people in the church. If you can leave comments without profanity in this thread because i want to print it out and show people. LOL. So start posting and show some support. I want to make it huge !!!!!

After the car show i'm going to try to make it a point to hangout there every week. I will be closing some of the parking lot off just to keep people from doing stupid crap. There will probably be a hired cop there on a regular basis not to drive people away but to keep those who just want to hang out.

Like i said hopefully soon this will happen. I will keep everyone posted.

SCOOBASTEVE, that sounds good. maybe you should have a fee of $7.

Yeah. Thing is i'm working on a new site and will be up soon. This site is going to be CITYWIDE!!!! Its going to be christian based. You don't have to be christian. I'm set out to do something that is good and based on god. I went to a conference and it taught me a lot and really made me see what needs to be done. My idea is to start a chritian based site dedicated to cars and music....Two of biggest passions. Well this site is going to be like no other. Everyday you will have a new daily devotional( a story based on acts of people), bible verse, Links to some of the hottest christian music radio stations, christian music reviews, christian concert updates, links to christian bands, christian music referels for local bands

Don't forget cars: I will have weekly meet updates, car tech, car discussions, car features,show updates,classifieds as well.

Off topic stuff: christian discussions,testimonies.

This site is for everybody. To show people that there is more to this world then the ugly we see day by day. Also more importantly to bring people closer to christ. Now i don't know how many people will be up for this. My main thing is to encourage you!!! This is going city wide and this will be well known in a couple months. I'm spreading the word and it will be up soon....

Yeah i'm starting a racing team as well to support the site!!!!

im pretty sure the church you are talking about is trinity baptist church right? cause my dad has worked there as a minister w/ married adults and run all of the activities at the church

Yup it is. I'm really involved with the ministries over there and trying to use some of the space we have.

im also john park, but i go by jp. and i pretty much grew up there. but i havent been there in a while cause i have just been doing alot lately with school and my internship. excuses excuses i know

I'm doing my best though and i have been playing a major role in the university group for about 2yrs now by in being in the band and helping out with the university ministry. Thing is i'm tired of not seeing any movment and my ideas are jsut going to waste. So i decided to take upon myself and start my own ministry and play a role in the church as well.

Car show is still in production! Car meet well i'm might start having one here pretty soon. I still need to get in touch with people over there at church. Whether is still pretty good. It might be on hold till next year...I know that sounds far away but it just might be that long. I'm doing as much as i can!
