Ok, ya'll...what's goin on, people who say they're coming don't show, and people who have been sometimes don't come back. The meet wasn't deserted or anything, but I just don't understand. Post up ya'll what's goin on?

Everyone says they like the meet b/c it's chill, no BS, then we don't see you. It's not so much that ya'll don't go, but don't say that you like the meet and then just not show up again. If we can do something to make it more appealing, let us know!!

Thanks to everyone who showed, it was fun tonight...even the bust of the dumb bikes, funny shit (I'll post the pic later)!! These guys had nothing to do with the meet, they were just some dumbasses on base and decided to be stupid.

Yeah everything is a little better... I just have a hard time understanding why the two men that have always been in my life (my brother and dad) are always trying to make me feel like shit about myself... it gets to me bad.

I don't show up because its on the other side of town and gas would be bad with my 10-14mpg Mustang... but I think the reason it was slow is its the weekend before halloween.. come on.. everyone is partying... this coming saturday will be back to normal.. trust me...

i didnt show up to lackland cuz my friend couldnt get on base. she wasnt on the list. so i just waited till u all went to best buy.

i had fun for the limited time i spent there. i felt like a retard but oh well..lol

I've been to one of the meets... i was late, my bumper made me cry (it still does), but now my engine light is on sooo sucks but i can barely go anywhere because of it, the crap keeps coming on and they keep saying it's a "fume leak". Dumb acura "so called" specialized mechanics.

yeah... its just to far for me . would caust 15 $ to get there and back probly in my fc.
15mpg. 30 miles to get there. 30 to get back. 4gallon=10$. give or take.

I guess my point here might have been a little mis-understood. I am not concerned with the amount of cars (well, it would be nice to have more, but that wasn't the reason for this thread) b/c we're going to have a good time no matter what. I just don't like it when people say they're going to be somewhere and they don't show, and you can apply that to any situation, not just the Lackland meet, I guess it just generally pisses me off when someone says they'll do something then they do the opposite!
