WORKER REGISTRATION:
Short on cash? We need some able bodied personnel to help us set up and tear down. Here's the deal. For $50 can work half the day and drive half the day. Morning workers have to be there @ 6AM to help us set up the track, tech cars, flag or do cone pickups. Then you get to drive during the 12:30PM to 3:30 PM afternoon session. Afternoon workers can arrive as everyone else does and drive from 9:30AM to 12:30 PM. After that they will report in to help flag, pick up cones and finally help with course break down and clean up. These spots are limited to 10, 5 morning and 5 afternoon. Email john@dailydrifter.com to confirm your worker spot. If you say you're coming and you do not show up your spot will be given to someone else and you may not be considered for a staff job in future events.

WORKERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE but all (morning and afternoon groups) may drive on the smaller practice track during the competition.

Don't miss your chance to get pointers from Texas's best drifters, Several Formula Drift competitors will be there to help instruct.

Please direct any questions to alex@dailydrifter.com or john@dailydrifter.com or you can contact John at 713-882-2338.

Yeah alot of steamed rice and noodle soup was there. I got some wicked pics. Like that blue 350Z that kept going way wide...like 10 feet from us churning smoke...it was great. Too bad all those 240s look terrible. Dirfting his half style and speed and half looks to match style and speed.

SpeedWorks had their nice cars out there.
AE86 - had no susp. work so really didnt drift to well
S13 (SR20DET) green - drifted very well all day
S13 (RB25DET) orange - drifted very well after the competition was over. It owned the short track with one fail swoop. Incredible transitions, much like the green brother.
S14s...the one with the 9" wide Volks up front did well. Lots of front grip and transitioned very nicely.
Silver 350Z - NOICE. Drift then donuts until the tire blew out (one of the best lookers there)
Blue 350Z - NOICE also, drifted wide everytime but did very well on the long course. Sounded really great too.
Miata (red/white stripes) - very controlled and very long driftes with smooth transitions.

Id say those are the highlights of the day. I will post my pics as soon as i charge the battery. Later.
